Making the conscious decision to break up our initial flight from Sydney Australia to Venice Italy, by a 3 night stopover in Singapore.
Tip 1
Customs fill out your entry form right near the exit as there are so many staff to assist you for a smooth experience, if travelling together go on the one entry card, much quicker to process.
Tip 2
Taxi from the airport to your motel is so convenient and affordable in comparison to taxis in Sydney.
Take advantage of Singapore’s efficient public transport system. The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is an excellent way to get around the city quickly. tap on and tap off with your travel card or eftpos/credit card with a chip in it or Purchase an EZ-Link card for unlimited access to buses and trains, making it easier to explore various attractions like Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and Sentosa Island,
The signage is all in English, so clear and easy to follow.
Tip 3
Most new places I like to jump on the Hop on Hop Off bus, this gives you a great overview of the attractions the tour through the audio system in various languages.
The hawker centers are a must-visit, offering a wide range of delicious and affordable dishes.
If you’re a nature lover, don’t forget to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the lush greenery, and entry is free! It is the has the most amazing history.



For a unique experience, visit Clarke Quay in the evening. The riverside area is vibrant with nightlife, offering numerous bars and restaurants.

Don’t forget to check out the the famous Merlion statue, Gardens by the bay, sky-deck of Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Sentosa Island. Additionally if you are into shopping it is a super sport here.
